A Pioneering Logistics Drone Manufacturing Company BonVAero Specialised in Heavy-Payload UAVs, Engineered for High Altitudes and Challenging Terrains.The Bhubaneswar-based deep-tech startup BonVAero has made a significant breakthrough
by entering the US defense market through the esteemed I2A (India to America) Launchpad programme. 

Established in 2021, BonV Aero is one of only two Indian startups selected for this initiative, which aims to facilitate collaborations with the U.S. Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security.

The company has already made waves with its world-record-holding autonomous logistics drones, capable of carrying 30-kilogram payloads at altitudes of over 19,000 feet in the Himalayas, serving Indian Army operations.
BonVAero Drones With a Payload Capacity of Up to 20 KG, are Currently Operationally Deployed Between 14,000 FT to 17,000 FT AMSL. They have Also Successfully Demonstrated their 50 Kg  Drone to the Indian Army at 6,500 FT AMSL. 
BonV Aero is preparing these drones for certification under the US Green UAS and Blue UAS programmes, targeting high standards in cybersecurity and mission readiness.

CEO Satyabrata Satapathy emphasizes the company's commitment to indigenous manufacturing, ensuring that all components are free from Chinese origins—critical in defense applications. BonV Aero focuses on maintaining supply chain integrity while designing battery-powered autonomous drone systems aimed at addressing logistics challenges in both military and civilian contexts.

The startup's broader mission includes improving mid-mile and last-mile logistics across various sectors, including defense, disaster response, and healthcare. Future plans involve developing systems capable of transporting larger payloads, such as 50 kg at altitudes of 18,000 feet, and ambitious goals of up to 500 kg over 300 km.

Overall, BonV Aero's success highlights Odisha's potential in global technology innovation and showcases the capabilities of Indian startups in tackling complex logistics and defense challenges on an international scale.
