Ola Electric in trouble in Maharashtra
In a recent interview with CNBC TV18, Maharashtra Transport Commissioner Mr. Vivek Bhimanwar discussed the inspections conducted against Ola Electric showrooms in Maharashtra, particularly addressing allegations surrounding their compliance with trade certificate regulations. The inspections were prompted by complaints received by the Honourable Minister of Transport. A total of 34 premises in Mumbai related to Ola Electric were investigated, revealing that they lacked the necessary trade certificates to operate. As a result, these premises have been sealed, and 36 scooters have been impounded due to non-compliance with the Central Motor Vehicle Act.
